LEAP (Lifestyle, Eating, and Performance) Program at WomanCare

Millions of Americans struggle with food sensitivities, but identifying the triggers can be difficult, as reactions can be delayed by hours or even days. Traditional blood tests often fall short due to limited sensitivity or lack of testing for food chemicals. That’s where the LEAP (Lifestyle Eating and Performance) program comes in.

LEAP includes the MRT (Mediator Release Test), a patented blood test that can detect most food sensitivity reactions with over 90% accuracy. This comprehensive test is supported by independent studies and is the most reliable option available for identifying food and chemical sensitivities.

Common symptoms of food sensitivities include:

  • IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome)
  • Migraines
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Other chronic inflammation-related diseases

If you think you may have food intolerances, try our online symptom survey to get started.

How LEAP Works

The LEAP program is designed to provide relief for those suffering from chronic conditions like IBS, migraines, fibromyalgia, and other inflammation-related diseases, which are often triggered by diet. Properly managing your diet is key to achieving long-term relief. Accurate identification of food triggers is the first step in gaining rapid, effective symptom improvement.

The LEAP process includes:

  1. In-house blood draw: We collect your blood sample in our office, and you do not have to be fasting.
  2. Fast Lab Processing: Your sample is FedExed to the lab overnight for testing.
  3. Customized Diet Plan: After identifying food triggers, you’ll receive a personalized ImmunoCalm diet plan, divided into 5 phases, which outlines the foods to consume over the next four to six weeks.
  4. Rotation Diet: After completing the initial phases, we help you adopt a rotation diet to prevent new food sensitivities from developing.
  5. Comprehensive Support: You’ll receive a 66-page guide with recipes, shopping tips, restaurant and travel advice, and additional resources for managing food sensitivities.
  6. Ongoing Support: You’ll meet with our certified LEAP dietitian for 3 to 5 individualized follow-up visits to track your progress and adjust your diet as needed.

Expected Results

By removing reactive foods, your immune system has a chance to calm down, and many patients experience improvement in their symptoms within 10–14 days.
